vSphere 5 AutoLab

It is published, the project I have been working on for the last month or two is live.

What is the AutoLab?

The AutoLab is a quick easy way to build a vSphere environment for testing and learning using a single desktop or laptop PC and VMware Workstation, Fusion or ESXi. The whole lab runs in VMs on that one PC, even ESXi runs in a VM and can then run it’s own VMs.

Take a look over at ProfessionalVMware for details of how to get started with building your own vSphere 5 AutoLab.

    G’day Mate

Question, how do i deploy the autolab on a esxi5 host. i see there is a ovf file, but i seems to get a error when i try to deploy it, is it best to deploy using vcenter the ovf?
Not sure how to get the unzipped files onto my esxi5 host, any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

The vApp based ovf will only deploy through vCenter.
I’m working on an ESXi release that isn’t a vApp and will deploy on a stand-alone ESXi host.
